Dan Covey has been working professionally since 1980. Before embarking on his professional career, he studied at West Virginia University from 1976 to 1980. After leaving WVU, he worked for the Disney Organization in a range of roles, then for a variety of theaters in Boston, and lately as a freelance projection and lighting designer and theater renovation advisor in Washington DC.
